Hedi loves the breath, flow, grace and strength that is at the core of all styles of yoga practice and she allows herself to be inspired by a variety of traditions. Her first yogi steps were taken in the heat and humidity of Bikram yoga and since then she has found many lessons and wisdom in Ashtanga, Vinyasa and Yin yoga practices.
The more she practices, the more her life improves. In 2015 her inspirational memoir Just Breathe (Blijven ademhalen, order from bol.com), on the many life lessons she found in yoga, was published. Hello Ego, a second memoir this time on meditation, is due for publication later this year. In her classes Hedi’s goal is to share the healing powers of yoga that go beyond the postures and the beautiful gifts yoga has given her.
Hedi teaches yin and vinyasa yoga as well as meditation.
